Basement Bathroom Disrobed (Part 1)

We've almost finished our new second (basement) bathroom. The tiles have been installed, the potlights are in place and the fixtures are operable. Next week the new custom/frameless shower doors will be installed and we can give the shower a test run. We still need to do some touch-ups to the wall paint, re-install the light fixture above the sink, add some towel bars, and install the door handle, but we're within striking distance of a finished bathroom.

Stay tuned for Part 2...

  1. Hello!

So nice to find your lovely blog and a fellow Calgarian. I am so excited! Your blog is lovely!

Thanks for the info on that Hudson light fixture. So you really like it?! I am so happy to hear that. It is still on my list and I was going to check if it was available at Robinson's or Carrington.

Can I ask you a huge favour, if you have time...would you mind sending me a photo of your fixture?? I am interested in seeing it in a room, seeing another finish, etc.

I would be forever indebted! I am going to add you to my blog list asap - I am not blogging much these days as work has been busy, but need to get back to it and will add you. Can't wait to start followign your blog!

  2. Too crazy - I was just reading back a few of your previous posts and noticed that you installed the little iron chandelier from Home Depot! I was just there YESTERDAY and took camera phone pictures of it!
Thought it was a nice affordable option for my room or another.

How do you like it? You should send me (or post!!) a picture of it too!

  3. Frameless Shower Door have evolved like every other design feature in today's bathrooms.
If you're remodeling or building a full bath, chances are you will be tempted by this attractive design choice. Ordering a frameless shower door is a little bit like building an addition!
